Sometimes I have students that have a terrific aptitude for learning languages and quickly grasp the vocabulary and grammar. They are not afraid to play with the language and I try to provide helpful ways for them to vocalize what they are learning. I make sure to encourage them to try. I like to add humour by having them create crazy sentences using the vocabulary and grammar, even if the students don't use them correctly at first. And they come up with some funny sentences or funny paragraph. By adding humor, they are less intimidated, allowing themselves to even be creative. But most importantly, they are given the space to play with thesound of the language. I set up partner and group communication activities to facilititate their interaction and experimentation with the Spanish Language, and because the activities are fun and interactive, they become engaged.
